General Tips
At the beginning of the game, you can choose between two gameplay difficulties: Regular Mode (with additional hints, and active zones highlighted) or Advanced Mode (active zones remain unindicated).
In-game hints are limited: additional hints can be earned by finding mirrors in select hidden object areas. These mirrors will not appear in “place-back” hidden object areas, or reactivated ones.

An in-game journal will keep track of notes and important details, both regarding the story and puzzles you encounter.
You may skip puzzles. However, for every puzzle skipped, 30 minutes will be added to your overall game time.
Hidden object areas contain slightly randomized items. Therefore, only key inventory items or “action items” are outlined in the guide below.
This guide is taylored to the Collector's Edition of the game. As such, a bonus section is included at the end addressing the Bonus Adventure.
